1. Overview

Our Refund Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions and complies with UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and, where applicable, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not, we’re here to help.


2. Returns

You have 14 days from the date you receive your goods to request a return, unless the product is exempt (see below).

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • Be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

  • Be in the original packaging.

  • Include the receipt or proof of purchase.

3. Refunds

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the status of your refund.

If your return is approved:

  • We will initiate a refund to your original method of payment.

  • Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 working days, depending on your payment provider.

If your return is rejected (e.g. item used or damaged), we will notify you and may return the product to you.


4. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, colour, or product, please contact us at sales@richard-williams-photography.com. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.


5. Non-Returnable & Exempt Items

Certain types of goods and services are exempt from being returned:

  • Custom-made or personalised items

  • Digital downloads or software once accessed or downloaded

  • Perishable goods (e.g. food, flowers)

  • Intimate or hygiene-related products (e.g. cosmetics, underwear) once opened

  • Services already provided in full


6. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If your item arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us within 30 days of receipt. We will offer a repair, replacement, or full refund, in line with your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Please provide photographic evidence of the fault or damage when contacting us.


7. Shipping Costs

  • You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs when returning an item, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • If a refund is approved, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund (where applicable).
